Day 86 (8-25-12 - Sun Valley, Az.)

We had a nice ride for 395 miles today, at least for the most part.   It was a much enjoyable ride through Vegas today than a few days ago when it was raining.  We actually got to see the scenery.

When we were around Flagstaff, Az. we got in a couple of thunderstorms.  I noticed  the temperature dropped from 94 degrees to 57 degrees when we got under the clouds.  Then the lightening started flashing and we were in torrential rain with hail.  Now, I know why the temperature dropped, its called ice.  Luckily, it was not long until we drove out of the thunderstorm and had pretty weather.

We are staying at Root 66 RV Park.  We have been outside for about 3 hours talking with our full timer camping neighbors.
Full timing is looking better and better.
