We moved to Indianola Beach on Sunday. Before we left this morning, Lauren scouted out Google Maps for a campsite. When we got there, the spot he picked was open. Merry Christmas to Us!!
After we arrived, the rain stopped, and we sat under our pavilion for a little while until the rain started back.
The rest of the day was on and off showers, on and off winds. Which meant we were on and off being outside. Oh well, we have the perfect spot to sit inside and enjoy the view!
The wind had the camper rocking all night long. When we woke up Monday morning, we thought there would be too many clouds for a pretty sunrise. We were wrong!! I was out and about before 7 am taking pictures of the sunrise in the cold howling wind. Lauren was inside taking pictures out the window. Except for catching a few gulls flying through the sunrise, Lauren's pictures were as good if not better. Oh well, it's the adventure!!
We spent most of the day inside. Around 2ish we took a long walk to the camel sign and did a little bit of picture taking.
Lauren got a cool picture of a Tern diving in the water.
We were able to sit outside for a while, then went inside to the comforts of the heated Rap for the night!
Tuesday was another cloudy, windy day. We thought about moving, but decided wherever we are today we will be inside for most of the time. So, we sheltered in place and enjoyed our bay view.
Finally, the wind stopped howling and we enjoyed a stroll in the light breeze. We actually got a little bit warm with all the layers of clothes that we had on.
We spent the afternoon processing pictures and working on the blog.
